LEGAL ISSUES RELATED TO THE IMPORTATION OF GOODS ARE

 THE FOCUS OF A BREAKFAST EVENT ON SEPT. 16 IN SCHAUMBURG

 

            Mark Zolno, a leading expert on the legal aspects of international trade, will make a special presentation on the current issues related to the importation of goods and raw materials at a breakfast event from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Sept. 16 in the offices of Kutchins, Robbins & Diamond, Ltd., 1101 Perimeter Dr., Suite 760, Schaumburg, Ill.

            Mr. Zolno is an attorney at Katten Muchin Rosenman, LLP, in Chicago who specializes in trade issues and is the founder and chairman of the firm’s Customs and International Trade Practice.

            He will share his insights on a range of topics, including reasonable care and customs penalties, tariff classification, customs valuations and country of origin determinations, including product marking.
